| MESSAGE FROM INTERNATIONAL REGENT ON RESPECT LIFE |
My dear Sisters:
On January 22, as the country marks the 35th anniversary of Roe vs Wade which legalized abortion on demand in the United States, I call on each member of the Daughters of Isabella to continue to take the stand to uphold the dignity of all human life. We should recommit ourselves to building a culture in which every human life is valued, no matter how poor or sick, how old or microscopic, that life may be.
Let us unite our hearts and minds through prayer and good works with others throughout the country on this day, in promoting the inherent dignity of all human life from conception to natural death. As Catholics and Daughters of Isabella, we must heed the Lord’s call to life and be women “"of life and for life" as our beloved Pope John Paul II called us to be.
